We're searching for talented and experienced Senior Full Stack Next.js / React / Node.js Developers to join our team and work on a project for a European client. You'll work remotely as part of a collaborative team on this impactful project.
We're looking to hire developers with a passion for building innovative web applications and tackling complex challenges, experts in React, Next.js, and Node.js, with a strong foundation in back-end and front-end development.
In this role, you'll have a dual focus:
- Building new features: You'll leverage your expertise in Next.js, React, and Node.js to design, develop, and implement innovative features for our web application.
- Optimizing existing code: You'll meticulously review and refactor existing code to ensure maximum efficiency, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement new features for our web application using Next.js and React.
- Review and refactor existing Node.js codebase to improve performance, maintainability, and code quality.
- Collaborate closely with designers, back-end engineers, product managers (potentially located in Europe), and other stakeholders to translate requirements into high-quality web applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code using TypeScript for the front-end and Node.js for the back-end.
- Develop and maintain robust APIs using Node.js and appropriate frameworks.
- Optimize application performance for speed and scalability across various cloud platforms.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a professional full-stack developer.
- Strong proficiency in Next.js, React (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and Node.js.
- Expert-level understanding of TypeScript for front-end development.
- Experience with back-end development frameworks (e.g., Express.js) is a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS S3, DigitalOcean, AWS Cloudfront) is a must.
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) is a plus.
- Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a geographically distributed team.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
